Academic Integrity

Academic integrity is one of the core principles upon which Takamol Academy is founded. It is an integral part of our responsibility towards trainees and the wider community. Academic integrity means commitment to honesty, fairness, trust, and respect for the rights of others in all educational and training processes.

At Takamol Academy, we are committed to providing a learning environment based on academic values. We support all measures that ensure the application of the highest standards of integrity across training content, examinations, assessments, and all activities related to our platform.

Forms of Academic Integrity Violations

Violations that are considered breaches of academic integrity include:

  • Cheating: Using unauthorized information or tools during assignments or examinations.
  • Plagiarism: Presenting others’ work or ideas as one’s own without proper attribution or correct source citation.
  • Misuse of Assistance: Exploiting help provided by peers in ways that undermine independence in work.
  • Exploiting Group Work: Unfair reliance on group members to complete individual or group tasks without genuine contribution.
  • Fabrication and Falsification: Providing false information, invalid excuses, or forged documents to justify absences, delays, or to circumvent regulations.

Takamol Academy Policies to Support Academic Integrity

We apply a set of technical and administrative policies and procedures to uphold academic integrity, including:

  • User Identity Verification: Through login credentials or the National Single Sign-On system.
  • Randomized Examinations: Tests are designed with diverse and randomized questions to ensure credibility and prevent repetition or automated memorization.
  • Controlled Test Attempts: Limiting the number of attempts allowed for each test to reduce misuse.
  • Restricted Display of Explanations: Solutions and clarifications are only shown after completing the test, reinforcing the credibility of self-generated answers.

Disciplinary Actions in Case of Violations

When an academic integrity violation is verified, Takamol Academy reserves the right to apply one or more of the following actions:

  • Verbal or written warning with a signed written commitment.
  • Temporary suspension of the trainee’s platform account.
  • Cancellation of results for the course or examination affected by the violation.
  • Deletion of the account and all trainee achievements from the platform.

Our Shared Commitment

At Takamol Academy, we believe that maintaining academic integrity is a shared responsibility between the Academy, trainers, and trainees. We continuously strive to foster a culture of respect, transparency, and honest self-learning—ensuring high-quality training outcomes that reflect the professional and ethical values we uphold.
